THE FACTs ; STATISTICS, DOWNFALLS AND MORE
We were instructed to pick a side of if solar energy was beneficial or if we should not even take it into consideration for a power source. While taking our side, we had to think about the facts. Some important facts that we looked at when taking our side are; only eleven to twenty-seven percent of the solar rays get turned into solar energy, sunlight is free and renewable, can be held/gathered actively but also very difficult, and more.
The solar energy is not only difficult to store, it is also not consistent. We think that with a bit more advancement, the solar energy option would be highly beneficial.
Some improvements that could be made are; making it possible for the energy to be easily contained, and make the solar cells more efficient in the way that more energy from the sun gets converted. The solutions would take time to actually take play but eventually, this could be the way we save coal and have a free and renewable energy source.
